If your lone worker raises a Red Alert or cannot be contacted for any reason, the Yellow Alert message will be accessed by operatives at the Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC). This information provides contextual information that enables improved support to be provided.
Worker Down
Commonly used for workers operating in hazardous working environments such as construction sites or at a height, the worker down alarm uses motion sensors to detect movement and impact. It monitors device movement and orientation, detecting if there’s no movement for a prolonged period, which might indicate an emergency like a fall.
The system automatically alerts the Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC). ARC operatives then check the worker’s GPS location and attempt contact via phone. If the worker responds, they can inform ARC to disregard the alert.
