Comprehensive Safety Alerts For All Lone Workers

Red Alert

Red Alert helps lone workers in a crisis. If they feel at risk or need support, they simply select the Red Alert option on their device. This will immediately open a two-way call with highly trained staff at one of our Alarm Receiving Centres (ARC). The ARC operates 24/7/365, guaranteeing a response in second and can quickly escalate to emergency services if required.

Yellow Alert

Enables the lone worker to leave a voice memo that outlines information on their upcoming location or task. If your lone worker raises a Red Alert or cannot be contacted for any reason, the Yellow Alert message will be accessed by operatives at the Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC). This information provides contextual information that enables improved support to be provided.

Worker Down

Commonly used for workers operating in hazardous working environments such as construction sites or at a height, the worker down alarm uses motion sensors to detect movement and impact. It monitors device movement and orientation, detecting if there’s no movement for a prolonged period, which might indicate an emergency like a fall.

The system automatically alerts the Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC). ARC operatives then check the worker’s GPS location and attempt contact via phone. If the worker responds, they can inform ARC to disregard the alert. If there’s no response, ARC follows the worker’s specific escalation procedure, potentially dispatching emergency services to their location.

Safe Check

A safe check acts as a timed check-in to ensure that all is ok with the lone worker. Should there not be any response received within a set time period, this can then be escalated, and an alert can be raised with the ARC.

Group Alert

A message that can be sent to a predefined group of staff or specific individuals to ensure they are updated on any ongoing situations or information they should be aware of. They are commonly used to notify lone workers currently operating within a defined radius of a particular location.

GPS Locate

This enables organisations to enhance the visibility of the location of their lone workers. GPS locate takes a snapshot of a lone worker’s location every 10 minutes or when an alarm is raised, providing operatives with vital location information should support be required.

Safe Beacon

Safe Beacon’s geofencing and virtual perimeter features offer additional safety for workers in complex environments. As workers enter a Safe Beacon-protected area, they receive customisable alerts on their lone working devices, compatible with smartphones and intrinsically safe devices. These alerts range from proactive safety warnings to dynamic risk notifications, adapting to the specific environment.

Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC)

Totalmobile’s state-of-the-art Alarm Receiving Centres (ARC) offer unrivalled support for lone workers. Our ARCs operate 24/7, 365 days a year, ensuring every call for assistance is answered by expertly trained support officers.

Setting The Industry Standard

We adhere to the highest industry standards, with accreditations including BS8484:2022 and ISO 27001. In emergencies, our direct police escalation capability through our Unique Reference Number (URN) bypasses the need for conventional 999 calls, saving crucial time. If there is a false alarm, the worker can tell the ARC to stand down.

Virtual buddy

Red Alerts can be used as a virtual buddy connection to the ARC. The ARC operative will stay on the call with a worker should they feel at risk.

Active Listening

ARC staff use the initial seconds of the call for active listening in case a vulnerable worker can’t speak freely. Calls are recorded, and the recordings are admissible as evidence in court, assuring the highest levels of compliance.
