What is Reablement?
Reablement, typically delivered in an individual’s home or in a care setting, is a targeted intervention emphasizing goal-oriented assessment and therapeutic activities. It spans up to six weeks, though it can be shorter. This approach concentrates on identifying and harnessing a person’s strengths and capabilities, prioritizing what they can safely do rather than what they can no longer accomplish.
