Having been founded in 1998, the Direct Works Forum is now firmly established as the representative body for Housing Associations, Local Authorities and RSLs employing their own trades staff to undertake repairs and maintenance. With over 80 members managing over 1,000,000 properties, the Forum represents maintenance professionals and facilitates the sharing of experience and innovation.

Each year the organisation holds an awards event to recognise the achievements and successes of their members. This year, winners were selected from 70 entries across 5 categories. The winners and runners up are listed below.

TotalMobile sponsored the “supervisor” category. James Willis from Spectrum Property care was highly commended for this award and Eric Oakes from Plus Dane Housing was announced as the Runner Up. The overall winner of the category was Sophie Beach from Spectrum Property Care.

TotalMobile Business Development Manager David Cockayne said “it was pleasure to present this award, and we were delighted to see that Sophie was the overall winner. Spectrum Property Care have been a valued customer for 5 years. We feel that getting involved in sponsoring these awards is an important part of our commitment to helping our customers reach their potential. To deliver the best possible service, our customers need both the right technology and the right people.”

TotalMobile were delighted to also see other customers succeed in other categories. Well done Kirklees Council, Derby Homes, North Hertfordshire Homes and Bolton at Home.
