TotalMobile’s Head of Marketing, Nuala Murphy, has recently been elected to the board of the Chartered Institute of Marketing in Ireland.

The role of the CIM Board in Ireland is to support members where they live and work through promoting the role of the marketing professional in driving business growth and CIM membership as the underpinning ‘mark’ that identifies the marketing professional.

Nuala Murphy has over ten years of industry experience and has worked for such organisations as Ulster Carpets and Heartsine Technologies. She joined TotalMobile in 2011, heading a team of 6. Nuala has overseen such projects as TotalMobile’s rebrand and launch into the healthcare market.

Nuala stated “I am absolutely delighted to have been elected to the CIM Board in Ireland. I’m a firm believer that marketing is the management process responsible for identifying, anticipating and satisfying customer requirements profitably.  This is something that can be often overlooked.

In today’s tough economic climate marketing must demonstrate Return on Investment.  For this to happen a change in attitudes is required both within and outside the organisation and the CIM has a responsibility to its members & the industry.  As a member of the CIM Board, my goal is to be part of the team that makes that happen.

I’m looking forward to offering organisations and professionals real life examples and guidance. Along with my insight, industry networks and passion for marketing, I aim to inject enthusiasm and energy to the regional board and to its achievement of the CIM’s overall organisational goals”
