As part of Totalmobile’s ongoing charity initiative launched earlier this year, we’re delighted to contribute £500 to Kennoway Community Shed.
Nominated by our long-term customer Fife Council, Kennoway Community Shed is a charity aimed at anyone over the age of 18 who may be retired, unemployed, lonely or not able to work. The charity strives to help local residents feel part of the community, learn new skills and meet new people.
The Totalmobile £500 donation will help Kennoway Community Shed offer additional services to community residents and improve their local village by organising various activities and projects and social events such as walking, bowls, golf, upcycling, gardening, baking and crafting.
Kennoway Community Shed’s Chairperson, Bob McPhail highlighted the importance of the sponsorship and the impact this will have on local residents. “We’re thrilled with Totalmobile’s donation in partnership with Fife Council. As part of Kennoway Community Shed, we collaborate with Fife Council in order to enhance the local area for its residents across all ages. This donation will go towards meeting our priorities such as increasing volunteering opportunities, involving communities in a regeneration area and improving health related outcomes.”
Fife Council’s Procurement Officer, Alan Ross said: “We wanted to support a local charity initiative and give back to the community. Having previously collaborated with Kennoway Community Shed, we felt it was a great fit and we’d like to thank Totalmobile for their generous donation.”
