Totalmobile Signs Three Year Contract to Improve Housing Repairs Services with the Hyde Group

Totalmobile secures three-year contract extension with social housing organisation, the Hyde Group

BELFAST, Northern Ireland – 7th December 2022Totalmobile, a UK leader in Field Service Management software solutions, has been awarded a three-year contract extension to continue developing The Hyde Group’s building and safety requirements and help shape the business’ three-year objectives.

The registered social housing organisation provides about 48,000 homes across the south and southeast of England. Almost two years into its contract, Hyde now uses Totalmobile’s full portfolio of field service capabilities for all day-to-day business functions for scheduling, real-time data retrieval, and more.

The contract extension will allow Hyde to expand its use of Totalmobile into other key areas of its business, including Asset Management, Safer Homes, Building Safety and Neighbourhoods.

Key Information

Mark Batchelor, Director of Property Services at Hyde, said: “When we first contracted Totalmobile, we were looking for a unified solution that would interact smoothly between all parties – ourselves, customers, contractors etc. By employing a single system, we were able to eliminate the need for multi-systems and licences and transfer our entire team to one solution that had all the necessary information. The impact on our customers is also huge as they are now able to use a single portal to report any problems, or follow the progress of a job, in the same way we are.

“The decision to extend our contract was easy,” adds Batchelor, “as in our time with Totalmobile we have become invested in not only the software, but the people. Totalmobile is committed to working alongside us and continuing to develop a bespoke solution that works for us, and gives our customers what they need. The main priority for us is to continue working with their team to develop the technology in line with the latest regulations and legislation, such as the Building Safety Act”.

The social housing sector is currently under enormous pressure, stemming from backlogs from COVID-19, soaring interest and mortgage rates, and the wider cost of living crisis. David Webb, Managing Director of Property and Facilities Management Business at Totalmobile said: “It’s a challenging time for everyone at the moment and our clients in the Housing and Property Sector are all too aware of this. During these trying times, Totalmobile is committed to helping our customers do more with less, by coordinating services, adopting a more holistic approach to delivery, and fast-tracking the adoption of modern technologies to help streamline services. Our longstanding relationship with Hyde is vital to these efforts and we are delighted to be able to assist them with the implementation and development of these crucial field service technologies”.
