Totalmobile has today announced it has been selected by Clancy, one of the UK’s largest privately owned construction firms, to implement its cloud-based job management solution, Connect.
The agreement will see Connect rolled out to 100 field-based operatives to assist Clancy with the delivery of its major new framework with Scottish Water. Having worked with Totalmobile over several years utilising its mobile workforce management application, Mobilise, the new contract will provide a high level of capability and flexibility for repairs and maintenance services covering both water and wastewater networks.
The announcement follows Clancy’s success in securing a new expanded framework with Scottish Water earlier this year that will see the independent contractor double the scale of its operations in Scotland.
The software will provide Clancy with a modern, all-encompassing job management system, helping Clancy to drive productivity and efficiency in a way that supports high levels of service, reduces carbon associated with vehicle mileage and delivers value to Scottish Water’s customers. The partnership with Totalmobile is part of Clancy’s ongoing commitment to invest in people, plant and systems to support its vision of delivering smarter, greener infrastructure.
Ciaran Kennedy, Director for Scotland at Clancy commented: “Being innovative is one of our core values at Clancy, and we are committed to investing in technology to help us improve productivity and sustainability. Totalmobile’s Connect solution means we can use one integrated system, providing real time insights which will allow us to provide efficient repair and maintenance services to our clients.
“We have a longstanding relationship with Totalmobile, and are pleased to bring the benefits of their technology to our Scottish Water framework as we look to transform service delivery across the water network.”
