Having welcomed more than 1,800 walkers to Walk Ten Belfast 2013, who together raised a staggering £140,000 in support of local Marie Curie Nurses and helped fund 7,000 hours of Nursing, the charity is focused on bigger and better in 2014!
As a key fundraising partner of Marie Curie’s, TotalMobile’s Rebecca Reid was delighted to take part in Marie Curie’s Walk Ten launch, joined by Marie Curie Nurse, Kashia and Community Fundraiser, Grace Smyth.
Get your walking boots out and picnic supplies in. Marie Curie’s 10k evening fundraising walk, Walk Ten Belfast, at Stormont Estate, on Saturday August 30th is just over a month away!
There’s still time to register. It’s £10 per adult and everyone is asked to raise as much as possible in support of Marie Curie Cancer Care. All the funds raised will help Marie Curie provide care, free of charge, to terminally ill people in their own homes right across Northern Ireland and in the Marie Curie Hospice, Belfast.

The Walk Ten Belfast event starts at 5:30pm, after which there will be entertainment for the whole family throughout the evening such as fireworks, live music and entertainment – Total Mobile is encouraging everyone to take part!
Walk Ten Belfast at Stormont Estate is raising funds to make it possible for Marie Curie to provide more care to terminally ill patients and vital emotional support to their families, at the time when they need it most.
Children under 16 go free. Dogs on leads are very welcome.
