TotalMobile joined an illustrious group of Irish marketers when it picked up the Marketing Team of the Year at the CIM Ireland Marketing Excellence Awards on Thursday, November 6.

The hottest marketing campaigns from every business sector were recognised at the 15th annual awards ceremony at Belfast City Hall.

The judges said TotalMobile was: “A great example of SME marketing using social media. Fantastic recruitment project using social media to recruit graduate and experienced computer programmers.  A dedicated team effort across the company integrated across all departments, marketing, HR and developers. The application demonstrated that all individuals in a company are responsible for marketing in some way not just the marketing department. Congratulations to the team on a fantastic effort! This application is the winner, as it demonstrates big budgets are not always the answer to good marketing, it’s about having a creative, innovative and passionate team.”

The award was given to team of Simon McIntyre, Olga Pollock, Ashley Ball, Rebecca Reid, Ronnie Geddis Annemarie Steele, and Ellen Mackessy by award sponsor John Brolly, Marketing Manager of the Irish News.

It helps mark a year of significant awards success for the company, which also recently picked up Digital Company of the Year at the UTV Business Eye Awards, and earlier this year won an Irish News Workplace and Employment Award.
