G-Cloud 14 | Totalmobile named as an official supplier

We’re delighted to announce that Totalmobile has been awarded a place on the Crown Commercial Service’s G-Cloud 14 framework. The much anticipated 14th iteration of the government’s flagship cloud procurement framework went live on 29th October 2024. We are available on Lot 2: Cloud Software (SaaS) as found on the Digital Marketplace Catalogue.

What is G-Cloud?

G-Cloud 14 is the latest iteration of the UK Government’s digital marketplace, aiming to promote the adoption of cloud services across the public sector. At its core, G-Cloud provides a secure platform for organisations to find the technology or people they need for digital projects. The Crown Commercial Service elaborates on this, describing G-Cloud as:

"An online catalogue where public sector customers can buy cloud-based computing services such as hosting, software and cloud support. Includes many off-the-shelf, pay-as-you-go cloud solutions".

G-Cloud Framework

The G-Cloud Framework offers a selection of pre-approved suppliers for organisations to purchase from via the Digital Marketplace. This streamlined marketplace means organisations using G-Cloud can go through a significantly shorter procurement process. They can trust that any supplier on G-Cloud has been appropriately vetted and meets the necessary standards.

Navigating the Digital Marketplace

Before searching for suppliers, organisations can work with service users, buying specialists, and technical experts to create a list of must-haves and wants for their desired solution. This discovery phase can include security requirements, personnel requirements and desired functionality. Understanding these wants and desires helps identify the best search categories, keywords, and filters to use. Once ready, the platform allows for searching, exporting results, and assessing services to find the best fit for budget and requirements.
