Executives from some of the largest housing, health and social care providers in the UK attended TotalMobile’s Customer Conference 2014 in the Hilton, Belfast.
Colin Reid, Chief Executive at TotalMobile, said: “The conference was a great success. It showcased the role of mobile working solutions provided by TotalMobile in saving major organisations like health trusts and councils money, while enabling their workers to spend more time on service delivery. We are very pleased to have had some of our major customers, such as Virgin Care and Bristol Community Health, visit Belfast to share their positive experiences of using our technology with other customers and potential customers.”
The conference heard from experts representing organisations such as Virgin Care, which provides over 230 NHS services to more than 3million users.
Virgin Care’s Marie Cummings explained how they have cut costs and improved service delivery by using mobile working solutions developed by TotalMobile. They seen a 30% increase in ‘face to face’ time spent with patients and a 60% reduction in data entry.
Also on the list of speakers were major councils, including Cardiff City Council and Nottinghamshire County Council, who use TotalMobile’s technology to significantly enhance efficiency and improve service delivery. Cardiff City Council Wales’ largest employer and local authority said operatives felt the solution ‘was so simple their two year old could use it.’ Sarah Royles from Nottinghamshire County Council shared her experience integrating with multiple back office systems in order to provide services in Adult and Childrens Social Care to a population of over 1 million.
80 delegates from across the UK, representing sectors such as healthcare, local government, social care, and social housing arrived in Belfast for an informative and enjoyable event.
Bristol Community Health’s Jennifer Lucy Tomkinson said 100% of patients responded positively to staff using mobile devices and shared a video of nurses answering what difference mobile working has in delivering patient care.

As well as customer case studies, informative user groups and networking opportunities TotalMobile hosted a quiz and gala dinner in aid of Marie Curie. The total raised was £4,040.
