Innovative solutions to transform tenant experiences and streamline housing operations across the Council’s 27,000 homes
NOTTINGHAM, UK – December 19, 2024 –
Totalmobile, a leading field service management software provider, has partnered with Nottingham City Council to modernise its housing service delivery. This new collaboration addresses the critical challenges in scheduling, tenant communication, and voids management, paving the way for more efficient, resident-focused operations across the city’s thousands of homes.
Building on three years of success with Totalmobile’s Lone Worker solution, Protect, Nottingham City Council is now adopting its workforce management solutions, Connect and Mobilise, to transform housing services. These solutions will reduce operative travel times, optimise resource allocation, and enhance tenant satisfaction by streamlining repairs and offering real-time updates to residents.
Jon Peel, Business Transformation Project Manager in Nottingham City Council’s Housing team, said,
“Our partnership with Totalmobile marks a pivotal moment in delivering housing services. We’re addressing operational challenges and improving tenant communication by adopting innovative technologies. The adoption of dynamic scheduling through Connect and Mobilise ensures repairs are efficiently allocated, minimising delays and operational costs. Enhanced tenant communication, including video diagnostics and live updates, will build trust and streamline issue resolution.
Digitisation is also set to transform void management, replacing manual processes with automated workflows to accelerate key-to-key turnaround times for properties. Improved communication and tracking will benefit subcontractor coordination, ensuring jobs are completed efficiently and cost-effectively.
Managing Director of Public Sector at Totalmobile, Chris Hornung, added,
“Nottingham City Council’s focus on innovation aligns perfectly with our vision of leveraging technology to create meaningful change. Together, we’re setting new standards in housing services that are efficient, transparent, and tenant-focused.”
