NORWICH, UKThursday 06 February 2025Norwich City Services Limited (NCSL), the organisation responsible for maintaining Norwich’s streets, parks, and properties, has successfully gone live with a new workforce management technology from Totalmobile that will transform housing repairs and maintenance across Norwich, benefitting both residents and the council’s housing services team.

The technology, which now includes Totalmobile’s Connect, Mobilise, and Protect solutions, is fully operational and will support 170 users in NCSL’s housing repairs team. Covering everything from responsive repairs and voids to damp and mould issues, the new system allows teams to better manage workloads, respond to in-day schedule changes, improve communications with residents, and resolve issues faster than ever before.

Paul Young, Operations Director at NCSL, expressed his excitement for the project’s go-live, stating,

Totalmobile’s Connect solution improves team communication and coordination, while Mobilise facilitates real-time management of field workers, optimising task distribution and resource utilisation. At the same time, Protect focuses on safeguarding field staff, providing essential 24/7 support while they carry out their duties.
