Professionals from NHS Trusts and other Healthcare Organisations in Manchester and the surrounding areas have attended a workshop to investigate mobile technology. A mobile working strategy could help to improve efficiency, patient safety and care quality; ultimately saving the NHS money while doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals have the full communications support to spend more time with patients.
TotalMobile’s “Time to Care Workshop” took place in the Nowgen Manchester Academic Health Science Centre on 14th February and included an overview of mobile working, day-in-life examples and a live solution demonstration of TotalMobile™. The delegates were able to discuss the issues surrounding implementing a mobile strategy and build on their knowledge by talking to mobile working specialists.
TotalMobile Business Development Manager Tom Humphries hosted the event and said “There was great interest in mobile working at this event. It is clear, in light of recent Government announcements in favour of technology to improve services, that NHS Trusts are now exploring their options. We’re looking forward to discussing mobile working further with the delegates after the event and finding out how we can help them streamline staff workflows and generate more time for patient care”
