SOS Fob is an advanced, simple to use personal protection device. Compact, durable, waterproof and discreet it connects lone and at risk workers via two-way audio and GPS to a state-of-the-art alarm receiving centre (ARC). In an emergency the ARC’s highly trained operators can send emergency services direct to the worker’s exact location. As part of the award-winning Safe Hub platform, SOS Fob provides proactive, reactive and emergency support for people wherever they are in the world, 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

“Our lone workers attend Personal Safety Training, and we take the view that nothing is so important that we can’t take the time to do it safely. But, the very nature of our work means that challenging and unpredictable situations can and do occur. That is when the added security and peace of mind offered by the SOS Fob comes into its own.”

Thomas Berry, Health & Safety Manager Calico Group

Red Alert (emergency support)

Any time a lone worker feels at risk or in need of support, they simply press the SOS button to raise an alert and open a two-way call. They will immediately be connected to an ARC operative with secure access to their personal profile and real-time GPS location data. The call will be recorded. The ARC can send emergency services direct to the lone worker, bypassing 999 and saving time.

Yellow Alert (virtual buddy)

Workers can leave a voice message with task- or location-specific information anytime they enter a potentially hazardous situation. If the worker then raises a Red Alert or cannot be contacted, their recording will be accessed, providing useful contextual information.

Worker Down (reactive support)

SOS Fob provides a smart, customisable fall detection function. If a fall is detected, the device will enter an alert mode; sending audio, visual and vibration notifications to the user. If Worker Down is not deactivated within a designated time period, an alarm is raised at the ARC. The user can easily deactivate the alert with a single touch.
