The inventive industry-led online community is recognised by the LACP 2015 Spotlight Awards for successfully raising and debating issues affecting frontline community workers in the health and social care sectors.

Digital PR and Brand Journalism agency, Sarum  and client Totalmobile have been awarded Bronze in the prestigious League of American Communication Professional (LACP) Global Communication Competition, for the innovative online community and blog forum,The Mobile Moment.

Totalmobile provides intuitive mobile working solutions for field based workers. The Mobile Moment launched in November 2014, is a pioneering and highly popular collaborative online community/blog forum focused on mobile working in the health and social care sectors – one of Totalmobile’s target markets.

The timing of the forum’s introduction was strategic, given current UK debate about driving more cooperation between health and social care service provision.

The only platform of its kind, The Mobile Moment brings together expert guest bloggers from the health and social care fields with technology visionaries. Rich new content is posted to the site on a regular basis and socialised via social media. The site is run by Sarum and its network of professional journalists. It has over 20 reputable contributors from across the UK health & social care sectors.

Says Simon McIntyre, Totalmobile’s marketing manager, “We’re delighted to have won this important award. The Mobile Moment is so much more than ‘another blog by a software company’. It is the single most successful communications initiative we have embarked on in the last 12 months.”

Sarum founder Carina Birt said, “It is a delight working with Totalmobile which shared our vision for getting some important messages out to the community it serves, and providing a platform for debate that didn’t exist previously. We’re thrilled to be involved in this initiative, and very proud that its success has been publicly recognised in this way.”

Sarum also clinched Gold for another client, AIIM International, the global community of information professionals. The award was for its World Paper Free Day campaign which the judges commended for its “exceptional first impression”, “superb” narrative, “exceptional” visual design and “outstanding” level of creativity.

“It’s been an excellent year for our clients and an excellent year for Sarum,“ Carina said. “We couldn’t be happier.”
